As someone who has experienced difficulties in time management to the point of sacrificing rest time for work because of procrastination, it actually happens very rarely, actually more often I spend all day in front of my laptop but feel like my tasks are never finished then when my fatigue appears there starts to come bad habits such as procrastinating and doing unimportant activities when working time, then this class session has changed me. So here I am, I am so excited to share my experience #LifeAtBangkit from ILT Time Management at Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka which I have learned to be efficient in managing time more productively. There are many things that I have learned, but I will share 3 things that I have improved from implementing time management.

1 I set my priorities using the Eisenhower Matrix
I often feel exhausted looking at a long to-do list, so I sort the bigger tasks into smaller ones that are easy to manage. Then, I determined the most important task focus areas by using a mobile-based application, I could easily break down tasks from most important to least urgent so that I could focus on important tasks and complete tasks on time based on their importance level.

2 Create a capacity planning using Google Calendar
I used to schedule my daily activities using an alarm. After joining Bangkit, I can organize more activities, I can check the to-do list with certain deadlines, and will not get out of the schedule track so that any form of routine that I will do can be fulfilled because I have switched to using Google Calendar.

3 Don’t just stick to the schedule, Do it now!
Previously, I was someone who sometimes procrastinated, I thought “tugas ini mudah pasti bisa selesai H-1”, scrolled social media, read novels that were not related to learning materials, and even played games when it was time to do the task. After attending ILT Time Management, I learned that taking notes and scheduling daily activities is a good thing, but these actions will usually have ups and downs. If we are motivated, the results will be good but if we lose motivation, the results will not be optimal. A new way I learned to accomplish many tasks is to act based on Inspiration not Motivation the slightest thing that comes to mind at that moment just do it without analyzing it. For example, a messy room needs to be cleaned of scattered items, so immediately take the items and arrange them neatly without analyzing them. Eventually, this becomes a habit and everything can be done without being distracted by mood, motivation, etc.

The three things I learned above can also be applied by anyone such as learning to plan and use time as much as possible so that the time available is not wasted, as well as learning to utilize time management tools to increase our productivity and performance to reduce the habit of procrastination, this ability is proven to increase and maintain my productivity because my tasks at Bangkit are hectic and my daily activities are no less hectic.

By implementing these 3 things from Time Management, I believe that my activities can be well managed and maximizing the achievement of goals towards success will be easier to achieve.
